• This app is for patterns using rule B3/S23
• This app uses Catagolue's database of common names and LifeWiki names; recent changes may take a while to be reflected

There are two ways to use this app:

1. Enter an apgcode

• If it is in Catagolue's database of common names and LifeWiki names, its name will be displayed below the code
• You can click the Catagolue button to view its Catagolue page
• If the apgcode is not valid, Catagolue will say so

2. Search for apgcode by pattern name

• Type in the search box and select a name
• You can click the Catagolue button to view its Catagolue page

In either case:

• Click the RLE button to display its RLE
• Click the LifeViewer button to display it in LifeViewer
• If the pattern has a LifeWiki page you can click the LifeWiki button to view it
• If the LifeWiki button says Try LifeWiki the pattern may or may not have a wiki page
• If the LifeWiki button is disabled, the pattern does not have a wiki page
